Celebrating Black History Month, we know we don’t only make history in one month of the year, we do it 365 days. Today, I had an opportunity to speak about one of my colleagues that I serve with in the Georgia House of Representatives, his name is Representative Al Williams. A few days ago we had a conversation, and as we spoke I found out some extraordinary things about him. Please take an opportunity to listen to what I learned.
Representative Al Williams participated in the 1963 March on Washington, and the 1965 walk from Selma, Alabama to Montgomery, Alabama. He’s was arrested 17 times in his quest for Human Rights and Human Dignity.
