Great visit today at Dacula High School ,  April 11, 2019.  Thank you Principal, Bryan Long (who was actually born in Gwinnett), Associate Principal, Jeannie Hidalgo and the Student Leaders, Ashley Childers, Will Arnow and Ana Correa who sat with me to explain what made Dacula HS a great school.
Dacula HS has done a great job in providing a blended curriculum. They are the number 1 school in the county for integrating “Transformational Technology” (each classroom has 18 devices: Chrome Books and students also are able to use smart phones as well) and traditional teaching. I love what Will said “ technology is a supplement not a crutch”
The students are also “Committed to a Culture”of inclusion. They also have wonderful program for Autistic Student at the 2&3 Spectrum.
