I have some exciting news that I would like to share.
It is my intention to run to serve the 7th Congressional District.
On Monday, November 22, 2021, we voted on the Congressional Maps in the Georgia House of Representatives. The Congressional Maps passed in the House of Representatives, 96 to 68, mostly along party lines with two Republicans joining Democratic Members in the House against these egregious maps.
After redistricting, the 7th Congressional District has a total of 765,136 people. Gwinnett County has the vast majority of the district with 681,136; the remaining 84,000 are in Johns Creek.
It has been an honor and privilege to serve the residents in District 105, and I will continue to serve you through 2022.
I ask you to continue the journey with me as I seek to serve you in the 7th Congressional District.
I have been living in the 7th Congressional District for 22-years, and I have been dedicated to strengthening our diversity.
Gwinnett County, I know you and you know me.
I look forward to getting to know the new addition to the 7th Congressional District, Johns Creek because I want you to know I am ready to serve you too.
The campaign is just getting started and we have had a lot to do. It is the goal of the campaign to raise $500,000 by December 31st.
