I want to thank my colleague Representative Marvin Lim for Georgia for organizing a tour at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center.
This center focuses on training LawEnforcement and other public safety workers on current statutes and case laws. They also have about 100k acres of land to do actual simulation of real-life scenarios in policing and fire. We discussed culturally sensitive outreach, and toured the use of force training lab. We also focused on de-escalation techniques. We had a robust dialogue, and we look forward to future partnership to keep our communities safer.
