The 98-page Senate Bill-SB202 passed the Georgia House along party lines; 100 (Republican Members) to 75 (Democratic Members). It took exactly 1-week from creation to being signed into law on Thursday, March 25, 2021.
Why am I calling this Jim Crow 2.0?
This legislation, was formulated on a LIE put forth by Donald Trump that there was fraud in the 2020 election because he lost. Legislators should NEVER make policies and laws-based on LIES. Our responsibilities are to serve the people in good faith, integrity, and transparency. The most dangerous part of this is the ability of the State Election Board to take the power away from the Secretary of State and County Board of Elections
