Since January, the Republican in the Georgia legislature have introduced over 100 voter suppression bills. These bills are predicated on the Big Lie perpetuated by our twice impeached former President and continued by his supporters. They insist that there was widespread election fraud simply because they lost. My Republican colleagues do not have the guts to tell their cult like followers that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were fairly elected President and Vice President of the United States. After 3 recounts, a GBI audit, countless challenges and confirmation by the Republican Secretary of State that there was no widespread fraud Republican still repeat the Big Lie. These lies have led to the harassment of my colleagues in the State House and to the riot at the US Capitol on January 6. Here is my own hashtag. #StoptheLies.
