What does a State Representative do when we aren’t doing 40 days and 40 nights down at the State Capitol? Answer – we are out with our constituents!
The end of May is graduation season in Georgia and I was honored that Dr. Michele Smith extended an invitation to me to say a few words for the 5th grade graduating class at Jenkins Elementary School.
And what would graduation season be without attending the graduation ceremony at Grayson highschool for a friend’s daughter.
I also want to take this opportunity to recognize the top graduates at Dacula High school, Central Gwinnett High School and Grayson High School. Wishing you well in all of your future endeavors!.

While School is Out for the Summer
If you know somebody with children who has problems affording groceries this summer there is some local help available. Gwinnett County is participating in the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Summer Food Service Program, also known as the Summer Meals Program. Free summer meals will be offered at Gwinnett Parks.
Meals are available to any child 18 or under at no charge at the participating locations and serving times are listed here. Meals are served June 11th – 29th at ES/MS and June 11th – July 3rd at HS. Serving times and locations can be viewed by clicking here.
